What People Say
Most Liked
Customers rave about the generous portion sizes, especially the colossal fries that can easily feed two. The homemade style of cooking shines through every dish, especially the highly praised cheeseburgers, which possess a nostalgic quality reminiscent of summer barbecues. Many patrons highlight the outstanding service—Kathy, the owner, is known for her engaging personality and ability to remember faces, making visitors feel valued. The classic shakes and malts earn consistent compliments, often compared to those found in popular burger chains, yet with a distinct homemade touch. This warm environment fosters friendships amongst both staff and patrons, creating a welcoming community hub.
Most Disliked
The primary critique revolves around the cash-only policy, which some find inconvenient in today's digital payment age. While most appreciate the cost-effectiveness, not being able to use cards can deter spontaneous visits. Some diners mention that the restaurant can get busy, especially during peak lunch hours on Tuesdays, leading to longer waiting times for meals. While the food generally arrives hot and fresh, a few have noted that during peak times, the speed of service may lag slightly. Additionally, while the outdoor seating is lovely, it can become crowded, making it less ideal for those seeking a quieter dining experience.

The best place to get a burger, or even a salad! The milkshakes too! I stop here several times throughout the season. Kathy the owner is an amazing women. She’ll remember your face. The food is always hot and fresh! The fries are massive (a large would serve two people) and they are just like fair fries. Only downside is it’s cash only but I don’t mind. Just grab cash on the way up there.

Hands down THE best burger around!! The burger reminds me of a burger you’d make on a nice summer day. The quality of the meal is top tier for sure. I absolutely love their homemade fires. This is definitely a homestyle food place. You definitely get your moneys worth here. You can get more food, Better food then any fast food place around here. I also tried a chocolate milkshake while I was waiting on my food and it too was delicious. Reminded me of In-N-Out burger shakes. So this is definitely my favorite place to eat. I’ll be back soon! Back in 2024. Did not disappoint!

Mom and pop shop literally old school. Cash only. Burgers are huge. Fries for the buck are amazing. Greasy yummy food. Need a bottle of malt vinegar. But for prices these days. You honestly can’t beat it. If you have a larger order and they are busy wait is about 20 min or more. Loyal customers for sure. Will be back.

If you want an old fashioned, homemade oversized burger just the way you like it, then stop here. They grill it right when you order it so it takes a minute for you to get your order, but believe me when I say it is worth the wait. Juicy and prepared with the fixings of your choice, add a side of onion rings or fair fries and you can't go wrong. Milk shakes are delicious and all-in-all pricing is fair for what they're offering. Outside picnic tables or take it to a nearby park, or your home. No inside dining here, this is old school drive up dining at its very best!
